Book Reviews of House of M

Book Review: Eh... it's Okay...
Summary: 3 Stars

The artwork is fantastic, the plot buildup is perfect, but then everything just sort of... stops. After the last page of this book I found myself flipping through the pages to make sure I didn't miss anything. I'd say this is great for a collection, but not all that wonderful by itself (story-wise).

Book Review: Frosty...say what?
Summary: 4 Stars

While this is an interesting story, at times it feels like "The Matrix" of the comic book world. At the end I was also left with a massive "Say what?!?" Those would be pretty much my only two criticisms of the book. The writing was good, the art was well done, and the choices of characters were great. Wolverine continues to be a mean old cuss and plays well with Emma Frost. At the end one has a great deal of sympathy for the Scarlet Witch, even though she could destroy the universe....

Book Review: Great marvel story for any fan.
Summary: 5 Stars

House of M is the first graphic novel I've bought & read. I bought it because I've always been an X-Men/Marvel fan and being that it seemed to revolve around Magneto, I was sold. The book did not disappoint. The art is amazingly beautiful and the story places you in a fantastic marvel story. I won't give anything away and I'll just say that I was completely satisfied. If there is anything negative to say, it's that I found the story a bit short but that is greatly made up by a slew of extra content (Character Bios, Artwork, and a cool newspaper from the House Of M time). Overall, I'd recommend this book to any X-Men/Marvel fan.

After reading House Of M, I became obsessed with reading more Marvel books. I've purchased X-Men: Deadly Genesis, Endangered Species, & Messiah Complex. All deal with events that happen after House Of M and are all also worth a read. After reading Deadly Genesis (I loved it), I purchased Rise & Fall of the Shi'ar Empire. My point is that House Of M is a great starting point for anyone that wants to jump into the Marvel universe.

Book Review: New Marvel-U
Summary: 5 Stars

I was going through some of the reviews to see what other people had to say about the House of M story line and wasn't going to write a review until I saw the people who gave this incredible series a bad review. I understand that everyone has their tastes but I can't believe some of the garbage these people are saying. Oliver Coipel art not good!? Madness. And to knock Bendis' writing? Well clearly these people have lost it. Oops. Just realized that I'm not rating the series as much as burning people. So I'll wrap up saying that this was an amazing read. You would never see something like this coming and especially the ending, your jaw drops. The main story is incredible but also the other books that had the House of M tag were also really good. My personal favorites were the Fantastic 4 and Spider-man.

Book Review: Perfect
Summary: 5 Stars

Marvel has outdone themselves with creating this astounding comic event. Any Marvel fan MUST get this book. No let down
