Book Review: Great book for beginners but no new insights
Summary: 4 Stars
In this book, taken mostly from Tigers' Golf Digest instructionals, you get to see in glorious still images every aspect of the game of the best golfer in the world. In this alone it is a unique book as any previous books by top golfers have been dominated by verbiage best suited to the older, more experienced golfer. I believe that this book serves two purposes...... Firstly as a historical document delineating the rise of a sporting superstar, secondly as a beginners instructional. It won't teach you anything if you've read the classic instructionals by Hogan, Nicklaus and particularly Nick Price (The best one) but buy it for your kids to get them started on the right path. For the rest of us the pictures are nice and it'll be great to show the grand-chldren!p.s. you can tell when the photos were all taken by looking at Tigers' build, his hair and the driver and irons he is using in any given section!
