Book Review: Fun for the Pokemon fan

My daughter, age 7, is an avid Pokemon fan and loves to draw. This book has been lots of fun for her even though I think some of the drawings are hard to do. However, she is a much better drawer than her Mom and does not express any frusturation while following the directions. I think the book could have provided more step by step instructions but if your child has some talent drawing, they should have fun with it.Book Review: Gameboy Alternative

My 5 year old loves this book. If he had his way, he would play Pokemon all day every day on his game boy. This is a nice alternative that taps his imagination and creativity. He also tries to get others to draw with him so they have a group activity that is relatively quiet, until they start describing the battles. I highly recommend for any child who already loves other Pokemon activities.Book Review: Horrible "how to" book. Anyone that could use this doesn't need it.

I, of course expected the standard "how to draw (X)" book. What I got was a "how to put eyes on a very complicated shape" book. The first step is an already drawn pokemon with 3 or 4 details missing. No "draw and oval, overlap with triangle.. type thing. Just the pokemon outline missing a few features. Does not even serve as a trace book as the lines are faint grey, not a bold black.
At first glance looks like a coloring book.
If your child can draw the pokemon using this book, they can draw them using any picture.
