Book Review: Book Cover Caveat

This really translates to "we are out of the book pictured, so we'll substute whatever we have left." I DID read that before ordering, but thought it would be a derivation of little girls.
I ordered the book for my granddaughter in honor of her dance recital. The one I received came with a cute little boy on the cover -- appropriate for boys as well as girls -- but I would have had to explain why I was giving her a "boys" book and the meaning I wanted to convey for her would have been lost.
I called around and found the one with the little girl at a local Barnes & Noble. (I kept the other, as the sentiments are also for my grandson, when he is older.) However, I feel that Amazon.com should post the cover of the books which are actually in stock so that we may make an informed purchasing decision.
Book Review: as moving as the song

I'm thrilled to see the books that are coming out that are tied to songs that move us. This book is wonderful and I've read it a dozen times at least. As a songwriter, I love to read books that expand upon songs. Live Like You Were Dying has two books out that are also wonderful. One is a lyric book with inspirational thoughts about life. The other one is a novel that expands upon the story inside the song. Please keep these types of books coming! I first fell in love with song, and then found this book and purchased 3 copies that day for family and friends! I think it is so important that our children know that we love them and that we too hope they dance! A beautiful gift for your daughter, friend or someone special! If you haven't heard the song, well this book comes with the cd tucked away on the back page and be prepared and have some tissues close at hand!
If your little girl is still little, there is a terrific board book version that also comes with the cd single as well. It too is called I Hope You Dance, and this version has the lyric at the end. The ISBN is 157791151-2 $9.99.
And to the person reading this... I too, hope you dance!!!!!

If you thought the song I HOPE YOU DANCE was wonderful, this tops it! It's a small book with not to many words, but the right ones. It'll make you smile, it'll make you cry and it will make you realize that you do deserve to dance. It's big on heart and great for a loved one who is going through a difficult time in their lives. This is a great gift to get someone that you love. This is a little hardcover book with the acoustic and non-acoustic versions of the song and the lyrics are written out with some beautiful sepia-toned pictures in it that give it a vintage look.I'm not a huge county music fan, but this is a lovely song and always makes me sentimental - the words make you want to live a life just like that and someday have your children live them out too.
