Book Reviews of I Hope You Dance

Book Review: I'd give it 10 stars if they'd let me...
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought two of these books, one for each of my daughters (10 yrs and 12 yrs) because I told them a year ago that the song was a dedication from me to them and when I found the book, I couldn't believe it. I cried while I was ordering them because I knew how special it would be to them.

I just received the books and it took me a long time to read it because I couldn't see the words through my tears. This book is so beautiful and inspirational. I know my daughters will love it and I pray they will live by it.

To Lee Ann Womack, Mark Sanders and Tia Sellers... Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for creating something so beautiful for me to share with my two beautiful daughters!

Book Review: Great Holiday Gift!
Summary: 5 Stars

I highly recommend "I hope you dance" by Mark Sanders and Tia Sillers, especially as a great gift for friends and loved ones. The book just looks and feels beautiful. It takes the song "I hope you dance" - which is by the way included on a CD in the back pocket of the book - and expands on its heartfelt, engaging lyrics, reflecting on them and giving them further depth. Beautiful photos provide the backdrop for a message that encourages to go for your life, to live it to its fullest.

If you can identify with this book's message, I also recommend "Working on yourself doesn't work" by Ariel & Shya Kane. This book shows you a new approach towards dealing with problems and challenges that is strikingly simple and can dramatically enhance, enrich and deepen your experience of life.

Book Review: Smiles full of Hope
Summary: 5 Stars

I can't hear this melody enough. I have begun to collect old photos of myself, of friends and family dancing. This will be assembled into a collage around the special little book. This song and precious book of hope brings me comfort, smiles and hope at this low point in our/my history.
We don't realize what treasures we are creating until we look back on the memories we have made. I have been sitting it out too long........the inspiration to once again dance has come alive through the words, book and music.

Book Review: Tremendously moving & thought provoking
Summary: 5 Stars

When yoy pick up this book, you at first think it is only for children--but when you read it-you realize it is for everyone-young,old and in-betweem. I gave it to my husband for Swetest Day. We enjoyed so many sunsets on the Gulf in Florida, this past winter. We looked to the skies so often and thanked God for the beautiful earth he has given us. So often, people get to busy to see the sunset, walk along the shoreline with the waves tickling your toes and just enjoying themselves in the simplicity & complexity of nature. Children need to find this in the first place and all ages need to hold on to the wonders.

Book Review: Wonderful text that goes directly to the heart
Summary: 5 Stars

I accidentally bought this book, just for its title "I hope you dance". But it is one of the best books I have ever bought. The first time I read this it and listened to the enclosed CD it went straight to my heart. I would like to recommend this to everybody to read and experience the lyrics.
