Book Review: A BIG letdown.
Summary: 1 Stars
A devastatingly boring book. I had to force myself to finish it. It gains momentum only in the last 30 pages. The way the story is told, from Ira's brother to Ira's former protegee as a memory decades gone, serves to remove the reader from the story before ever drawing them in to begin. I couldn't believe it was Roth's work!
