After an introduction to op-amps, the book is divided into several chapters which describe, in detail, the design and operation of most of the circuit blocks used in analogue work, for example, rectifiers, peak detectors, sample and hold, multipliers, comparators, integrators, differentiators, multivibrators, oscillators, signal generators etc. Finally, a useful appendix is included which gathers together the datasheets for the many popular op-amps used throughout the book.

In conclusion, Jung has assembled all the essential items necessary to create an indispensable reference guide for anyone who is involved in designing analogue electronic circuits using op-amps. It is clearly written, concisely explains difficult concepts, covers the whole range of op-amp design and contains many fully realised circuits which actually work!
