Book Reviews of I'm Next: The Strange Journey of America's Most Unlikely SuperheroBook Review: Outstanding! Summary: 5 StarsIt only took 2 days for me to read the entire book! I just couldn't put it down. For anyone who wants to know the real person behind GOLDBERG, you can't beat this book. I really enjoyed finding out everything that goes on outside of the ring. Bill Goldberg is a super human being not just an unlikely superhero. I hope to someday meet this man, but until then, the book is the next best thing.
Book Review: SPEARS MICK FOLEY AND JACKHAMMERS THE ROCK! Summary: 5 StarsTheir books, that is. Lively and well written account of the incredible rise in the wrestling world of this one big explosive star- 'Da Man himself! I loved it! The book is actually very funny at times and shows the many different sides of Goldberg. It recounts just how fast the stardom all came and, most important, how he got there (hard work). Goldberg's brother Steve wrote the book. He's a talent too.
Book Review: I know who stop goldberg Summary: 5 Starsit was nash who stop Goldberg on 175-0you are next
Book Review: NOT FOR THE AVERAGE WRESTLING FAN Summary: 1 StarsBefore I start, please be advised I have read the books of Mick Foley, Bret Heart, The Rock, D.D.P. and Arn Anderson. Without a doubt, this is the worst wrestling book I have ever read.It seems Bill Goldberg has had a cake walk through the ranks of Pro Wrestling. That's fine. The only disturbing thing about it is he brags about it, along with riding in his brother's jet or eating at one of his brother's resturants. He is high on every avenue he has be personally successful with, (his long winning streak, and low on everything that hasn't fallen his way, (professional football, turning heel, etc.) He speaks ill of Booker T. when he doesn't feel good about putting over Goldberg, then Goldie cries when he has to put Nash over. The hardcore Goldberg Fan might love his book. The average Wrestling Fan will prboably vomit!!!
Book Review: You Can't Put It Down Summary: 5 StarsI write wrestling columns for two websites. We see wrestlers come and go with little or no fanfare. When Bill Goldberg burst on the wrestling scene, nobody had every created that much notice in that short length of time. In the book, Goldberg discusses the "positives" that this brought, and he pulls no punches (pun intended) talking about the negatives that he is learning from. If you are a wrestling fan, add this one to your library!
