Book Reviews of In Me Own Words: The Autobiography of BigfootBook Review: Wow! Summary: 5 StarsThis book was so refreshing! Just what I needed. I was a little hesitant at first, since the guy who reccomended it to me was a waiter, played bar sports, and wore windpants. But regardless of his grosser handicaps, knows the funny.
Get it!
Book Review: At last, the big hairy one speaks! Summary: 5 StarsThis was written before "Me Write Book", but it's just as funny. I love this series and I hope we hear from Mr. Foot again. I do hope we don't find out later that he made segments up a la James Frey; if Oprah had to have him on her show, it could get ugly.....
Book Review: Me think this book make life worth living Summary: 5 StarsYou really, really want know bigfoot better? He misunderstood, that true. But Graham save Bigfoot from peril of obscurity. Make Bigfoot seem like best friend--same as Sylvia Plath poetry make me want know her. You read this book and be better, OK? Make you forget Iraqi civil war and avian flu.
Book Review: Bigfoot Writes His Memoirs Summary: 4 StarsEven though this is an illustrated book, it's really more for adults than small children. The humor might escape wee ones, although they would enjoy the pictures, which are funny and well done in a simple style that's reminiscent of the illustrations in Shel Silverstein's books. I't s quick read, but definitely a good find. An fine choice as a coffee table book.
Book Review: Profoundly moving Summary: 5 StarsThis book is amazing for its depth and social commentary. Best read aloud to yourself, your friends, your pets, your loved ones. What better way to honor those you love than by giving them a copy.
Oh wait, did I really write that? I must have been out of my mind.. In Me Own Words has got to be the funniest book I ever read, besides being the most important!
