Book Reviews of Infected: A NovelBook Review: Almost too real... Summary: 5 Stars
The science that goes into the things in this book are a bit too creepy because of how real it makes them seem. Scott Sigler really has a way of taking a horror story and putting just enough realism in it to make the situation seem very possible.
Book Review: Amazing Summary: 5 Stars
Scott Sigler takes his fiction writing to a new level with INFECTED.
The character development and the stories many twists and turns keep you entertained.
This is one you cannot put down.
Book Review: Amazing. Summary: 5 Stars
Combining the cold hard science of Michael Crichton with the spine-tingling horror of Steven King has paid out in spades for Sigler.
Book Review: Amazing. Just amazing. Summary: 5 Stars
I read through this book damn fast. It grabs you by the arm and won't let go, sometimes caressing, sometimes squeezing. Hard.
Do yourself a favor. If you like horror which stays away from ghosts, pick up a copy of this book.
Book Review: An Amazing Tale Summary: 5 Stars
First and foremost, the comparsion between Sigler and King must be clarified. We are talking classic King not the King now a days. The 2 star review made reference to Infected being a "detailed body-gore". Has this person read King's The Cell? I found that more of a "detailed body-gore" than Infected. It's a shame that so many trees had to be cut down to make The Cell.
The most important aspect with this book (and Sigler's others) is that they are FREE in a podiobook/podcast format! I don't see King or Kootnz doing that. Sigler has built up a loyal, dedicated fan base because he did not want his talent for crafting these tales to go unread or unheard.
Infected will creep you out. Infected is a plausible theory. What better way than to bioform a planet. Forget long drawn out conventional wars, the destruction of the planet. Bioforming would be the easiest way to overtake a planet.
Infected is defintiely worth buying. I have listened to Infected many times and will be reading the book as well.
