Book Review: Contains the most horrific scene I've ever read...

... and no, I'm not going to say what it is (but contrary to popular opinion, it has nothing to do with chicken scissors... although, that part is pretty god-awful, too).
In a world where many best selling authors put out books full of stupid characters who behave in unrealistic manners, totally unchecked "facts", and glaring errors in regards to everything from cars to guns to basic principles such as electricity, it's unbelievable that people like Scott Sigler go to such lengths to keep the science real.
Seriously, in a story with suggested tags like "aliens, parasite, gore, monster", who would have guessed that a little grounded-in-reality hard science would go such a long way? It also doesn't hurt that Dew Phillips is one of the most likable, real, believable good guy characters I've read in forever.

I love being entertained. I do not nitpick a book or movie about this, that or the other.
That being said, I loved Infected. The story was fast paced, always entertaining, and I could not wait to get to the next page.

It was so vivid, I can still 'see' it in my head. I'd recommend it to anyone. It would be a good summer read as most of the story occurs in the winter. You'd be shivering on the beach - from the horror and from the cold. LOL!Book Review: Dark Overlord's latest Triumph
