Book Reviews of Insight YogaBook Review: Real yoga Summary: 5 Stars
Reading Insight Yoga reminded me of what yoga is really about -- personal exploration. Through her own lifelong exploration, Sarah has evolved a personal practice and philosophy that integrates yoga, Buddhist insight meditation, and Chinese medicine in a way that is truly inspiring. Before I even finished reading the book, I began adopting some of Sarah's teachings into my own practice. I also found Sarah's sincere, clear writing style to be really refreshing.
Book Review: So much more than yoga Summary: 5 Stars
Fantastic book, which includes insights into so much more than yoga: meditation, energy channels, Buddhism and more. I love this book, it has enriched my daily yoga practice.

Book Review: Wonderful guide to Yin/Yang yoga and meditation Summary: 5 Stars
I highly recommend Sarah Power's insightful and lucid guide to the practice of yoga and mindfulness meditation. Her clear explanation of the different threads of Hatha and Taoist yoga, as well as, the foundational ideas of Buddhism and mindfulness meditation are poetic and inspiring. She has the ability to translate Eastern thought without loosing the spirit of the teachings. In fact, she has a wonderful knack for making such teachings more accessible to the western mind. This book is great for beginners and experienced yogis alike.
Book Review: Wonderful resource Summary: 5 Stars
I have had the good fortune to study with Sarah Powers, in the teacher training programs at Kripalu, a total of 3 weeks and the books is wonderful reflection of Sarah. Of course nothing replaces being with a teacher, and I have 3 notebooks filled with Sarah's words of wisdom from my trainings with her. But when I need some additional inspiration or reminders, this book is close at hand. MInsight Yogay main teaching now is yin yoga, a much needed yoga to address the connective tissues that start to become a significant issue once over age 40. Great book, buy it, and savor Sarah's insights. Namaste, Grateful student, Tina RamsdenInsight Yoga
