I bought quite a lot of books to help me understand intelligence-led policing for promotion and graduate work, and this was the best. It is quite deep in places, and the author has you thinking about policing in a different way than a normal intelligence book, but that is actually a good thing. He has written a lot on crime and intelligence-led policing before this (I googled him) so he has credibility. Decent price as well.
