Book Reviews of Interview with the VampireBook Review: excellent, if you want an in-depth story, this is it. Summary: 5 StarsI will be short and precise. The detail in this story brings you right into the story and you wil feel emotions for each characters as if they were real, you won't be able to put the book down (my friends and I still talk about the book and the film two years later! IT'S A MUST.
Book Review: The best vampire' story ever Summary: 5 StarsThe big thing in this book in my opinion, is having brought the subject of the eternal life for vampires as a problem and not as something to be wished. Ann Rice was genial in describing the distress immortality can bring when you're left alone to live it. Loneliness, love, erotism are the keywords that you'll find all along this unique story.
Book Review: For anyone who has ever been intrested in immortality.... Summary: 5 StarsWhether it be after movies or after reading horror novels, anyone with half an intellect has imagined what it would be like to live forever. In this book, Anne Rice answers that eternal question in the form of Louis. A vampire created at the dawn of a new age, we are enveloped in Louis' story, re-living his 'life', and coming to realisations that one could only make by stepping off the 'mortal coil' and seeing things objectively, through vampires eyes. Anne Rice begins a myth in this novel that will span decades and capture the imagination of anyone who has ever been on the outskirts of society
Book Review: The best book ever !!! Summary: 5 StarsThis is the first book I have read by Anne Rice. I actually had heard that the film was good but I didn't have a chance to see it so I decided to read the book. This book has everthing you want you want in a book. The characters come alive and make you feel apart of their lifes. I really liked the way that Anne Rice writes the story from the Vampire's point of view. I just couldn't put this book down.
Book Review: More than horror Summary: 5 StarsI've seen the film. I've read horror stories. Yet nothing even comes close to the precise and rich detail in this book. It has become a rarity to experience such passion through writing, combined with a deep understanding and depth of characters. I was stunned, and as much in love with every aspect of this book as I hope anyone else who reads it will be.
