Book Review: Hits The Mark Again

This book once again picks up the continuing struggle of the conclave agaisnt all manner of evil agecies seeking to destroy not only the conclave but both the planets of midkemia and kelewan. In this installment feist once again delivers and outstanding story, giving us further information on the new characters such as jommy and ralen bek as well as introducing the story of a dasati lord. The worlds and environments decribed in this book are just as intriguing as in all his other novels (espicially the dasti homeworld). Feist manages to answer a lot of questions raised in the 4 books leading up to this one (inlcuding a huge twist on the origins of the talnoy) but also manages to intoroduce even larger quetions and plot twists that i look forward to finding out the answers to in the next book in the series. In summary, once again a enthralling and griping read from one of the best fantasy authors of the present day. If you have read and enjoyed any previous raymond e feist books you will like this. However, i would highly recommend at least reading the 3 books of the conclave of shadows series and the first of the darkwar saga in order to understand the history of the characters and settings.
