Book Review: Great route into Jazz guitar playing

Their are so many good things about this method. The book works really well in conjunction with the DVD. The 'less is more' approach and the importance shown to a good solid rhythmic style of playing is beneficial to all sorts of jazz styles and not just the 'gypsy' genre. Jorgenson demonstrates the value and useage of chord inversions as well as tri-tone substitution in a very clear simple manner. The Method will clearly be of great use to any one who has mastered basic chords and shapes and wants to add some definition and style to their guitar playing.
