Book Review: Pro-Family (and it's about time)
Summary: 5 Stars
In tracing conservative social thought throughout the ages and stating his own beliefs and experiences Santorum arrives at the conclusion that the key to a healthy society is the family, Santorum defends this social unit as the foundation for a good way of life and in turn the common good of the community. This is a great book written by an intelligent man with some good reasoned arguments. Santorum's aim is to lay the philosophical foundations and build upon what already exists in much of American society to create a good healthy country which is for lack of a less sappy phrase 'a nice place to live in.'
Santorum as being called homophobic because he believes the family is and should be the bedrock of american life and he identifies the family as a married man and women with children, this is in my view a very true and nobel view and if he is by default labelled anti-gay because he is pro-family it shows more the bigoted and bias views of the uninformed who categorise him.
