Book Review: Good book about the movie

Reading the other reviews, it seems so many people needed to get their reaction to the movie itself off their chests. I did not care for the love story (too improbable and the dialogue was out of a Harlequin Romance); but the visual impact of the movie was awesome. I've read Titanic books for 30 years. At the theatre, for the first time, I felt wooden deck under my feet and the wind in my face. Tks. Mr. Cameron for bringing me on the voyage. The book about the making of the movie is very good because it covers everything except reprinting the script. Lots of pictures. I was quite interested in the clothing. If MGM will commercially sell the etiquette video (or a book with same info.) as well as the movie video, I'll buy it. Except for the scene where Jack & Rose are strolling on the boat deck, the manners are right for the time (Third class passengers were not allowed in 1st class territory because of U. S. quarrentine regulations [epidemics were considered a steera! ge problem I guess] as well as because of class-snobbery & the fact that they did not pay 1st class fare)Book Review: Good facts Great Picturs well writtin!

This book is verry good it has alout of information and photo's and I think it is neat to have a good factuall movie that has alout of facts and artifacts and great to have a book with great information!Book Review: Good movie, Great book!!!!

The book, James Cameron's Titanic, was good. I recently saw the movie and the director's book only helped to enhance my appreciation for the movie. It is not a great movie, in my opinion, but it is a highly watchable and fascinating film. The mastery of the special effects used by Cameron to re-create the "Titanic" is evident in all of the scenes featuring the large cruiser. I recommend the movie to all, but I strongly encourage all readers to purchase the book "Titanic". Simply fabulous and worth a read!!!!Book Review: Great Book For Movie Info

The book is fantastic! Great pictures! I would highly recommend this book for any fan of the movie or a Titanic fan in general! The making of the epic movie is something to see and you can definitely see it in this book.
