Book Review: A very well written book about what the NFL used to be

Tom Callahan's book is not only about Johnny U and the Baltimore Colts, but rather about a long gone (but not forgotten) world. He tells what it was like to be a player in the early days of professional football, what the teams and players meant to the cities where they played and how the interactions between players and regular folks really were. He also tells the story of a magnficient player and human being named Johnny Unitas and what he meant for the league and for the city of Baltimore.
A very good book, well written and full of anectodes, a definite must for anybody who loves football
