Book Reviews of Judge & Jury

Book Review: A good one....
Summary: 4 Stars

I have been a patterson fan for a long time now, but this is one of his better books and certainly, i think, the best in a while.....

Book Review: A good read
Summary: 4 Stars

Another good read from James Patterson. This one holds you interest enough to return to if you have to keep interrupting it, like I do. The only dessonant chord was at the very end with an impossible addendum to what was a satisfying ending. So, just don't read chapters 126 and 127 and the entire balance of the book is very good.

Book Review: False advertising
Summary: 3 Stars

This book seems like a courtroom thriller/action book. It does have a bit of both, but not enough to qualify really being within either genre. It's no great book, and makes for a nice, light read (definitely better than Maximum Ride)

I understand that everyone has their own writing style, but I found Mr. Patterson's own to be rather irritating. He often forgoes a lot of detail and some of his scenes simply feel thrown together. if Mr. Patterson would work on fleshing out scenes and thinking more about his characters and their actions, he'd be a better author. Quality over quantity, after all.

Book Review: Good Read
Summary: 4 Stars

A change from the usual JP Thriller however a very intersting read right until the very end. This book brings up a lot of emotion and personal issues with love, grief, loyalty etc which we can all identify at least in part - Very good read would be happy to recommend - i think any reader would get a lot from this book

Book Review: Great suspensful read
Summary: 4 Stars

This was my first read by James Patterson and I was quickly hooked to his style of writing. I was able to read Judge and Jury in one weekend because it was impossible to put the book down after reading a chapter. James Patterson is able to captivate the reader into having an intense urge to continue reading until there is no more. Characters are developed well and it's as if you know the people you are reading about. I have purchased three more novels by Mr. Patterson and checked out one from the library, I'm already a die hard fan.
