Book Review: Lyle Ritz solos, not for the fainthearted
Summary: 5 Stars
This is the definitive book if chord solos is where you are at!It is simply amazing how many chord positions there are on the ukelele. I have been playing for years and have just realised how much I didn't know. The accompanying CD has Lyle playing all the solos as presented in the book, apart from don't get around much anymore (which I believe is different at the end of the solo in the book from that which he is plays on the Cd)
Apart from that I would recommend it to anyone who wants to expand their knowledge of the Uke fretboard. I would suggest that you make sure you have a concert or tenor uke in your hands though when you try to play these solos, because unless you have very small fingers you will not be able to hold the chords down on a soprano uke.
I highly recommend this book
