I thought I ordered a new book, and I paid for a new book and it also said NEW on the bill that arrived, but the book itself was old. It had clearly been read before as evidenced by the worn and bent spine. Also, the pages are yellowed with age. I wish there was a way that I could have verified beforehand how the book actually looked before believing the book sellers claims.
Finally, the book arrived a day after the time frame given by the seller for arrival (shipped on Dec 31, and estimated arrival between 2nd and 22nd January).
All in all, it was my first absolutely disappointing experience with third party sellers on Amazon.com
