Book Reviews of Kids Are Americans Too

Book Review: new information, new inspiration
Summary: 5 Stars

I gave it to my grad-daughter for a birthday present. It had a lot of information which she does not learn in school, and is not in the television. It is a great source of cohesive beliefs. She read it from cover to cover, as did her brother.

Book Review: Kids are American too
Summary: 5 Stars

Great book for teens. My granddaughters love the book. So did their mothers. It gave a great history lesson on the Bill of Rights and Constitution. Schools don't present this subject in a manner that tell how the bill of rights work for the individual. It teaches teens they have to respect others rights also. Recommend for all teens.

Book Review: Kids are Americans, Too
Summary: 5 Stars

Kids Are Americans Too Clearly spells out the rights as well as the limitations and gray areas under the law for young people. This would be a good supplement to a high school government class.

Excellent book haven't read it all yet but we are all looking forward to reading it with our grandchildren as they are old enough to understand the book.

Book Review: You've got to be kidding
Summary: 1 Stars

I'd like to start off by saying I wanted to rate this book with no stars in the review but it made pick at least one. And that's way to many.

My son recieved this book as a gift. I was forewarned that he would be getting it and strongly diagreed with this purchase. After it was unwrapped and left on the floor of my 11 y/o sons room I grabbed it and thumbed through it.
I got so far as the Table of Contents when I started to become weary of this book. The words Porn and AntiGay put up flags in my mind. My son doesn't know what either of these things are. And right now I don't feel he needs me to explain to him what Pornorgraphy is.
This book is not a great read for the age group intended. Maybe a 15/16 y/o high schooler who understands such things as sex and judments. My son has done just fine with his history lessons and has learned alot. I think reading this book would undo a lot of that.It will certainly dumb anyone down to Mr.O'reilly's level. And my kids are better than that!
