When Daisy Devereaux's beautiful, high-fashion model mother dies unexpectedly, Daisy is left in grief to manage her affairs. In a very short period, she faces financial ruin, and possibly jail time. Her rich father, Max, who has never been pleased with Daisy, offers her a bizarre solution - marry the man of his choosing, stay married for six months, and then he'll pay her debts and set her up financially for life. His intention, presumably, is to teach her a lesson in survival.What kind of "groom" will go along with this arrangement? Enter Alex Markov, who owes a huge debt of gratitude to Max. He'll do as Max bids him, but grudgingly. His attitude of dislike and disrespect to Daisy give KISS AN ANGEL substance.
The marriage takes place and Alex is given charge over Daisy. What happens in the next few months in KISS AN ANGEL is a real circus, composed of part lesson, part survival and part nightmare.
This is a pleasant, light, romantic read.

After reading the synopsis of this book I was curious as to how this story could be a good romance novel. But it did not take long for me to completely fall in love with these characters and to want a little baby elephant to follow me around. Having read more than my fair share of romance novels and most of Susan Elizabeth Phillips' novels I have to say that this was one of my favorites, you won't be able to put it down, nor will you want to. It is a creative new plot for a romance novel that will totally win your heart! i just cannot say enough good things about this book, if you have not read it i STRONGLY suggest that you do, i dont know how anyone cannot absolutely love it!!!!Book Review: A book to be read and re-read

There are few books that meet every standard I have for being an excellent read--this is one of the elite few. I loved the characters, the original story, and the author's sense of humor. I cannot recommend this book highly enough and have since purchased every SE Phillips title I could get my hands on. I'm waiting for more, SusanBook Review: A book to read again and again!

I don't know about other people, but to me this was the best book I read in a long time. It was special. I had already read It had to be you by SEP and I didn't think her writing could get any better, but I was wrong. To me this book was better and so far is my favorite. She so reminds me of my favorite author Jill Barnett, but contemporary. She makes me sigh with happiness for the characters and I love her endings. People are wrong to say Daisy was stupid because she was not that way at all. She was kind and sweet and sensitive to the world around her. There is nothing wrong with that. She did need to grow up a bit and she did along with Alex. There was not a scene in the book that I didn't like.
The love scenes were great and touching and the secondary characters shined along with Daisy and Alex. This book is the kind of book to read when you want to relax and escape for a while then when you're finish, read again. This book is simply a keeper.
