Book Reviews of Kiss an Angel

Book Review: A great read!
Summary: 5 Stars

I usually read Historical Romance novels and actually thoughtthis would also be one. It was great anyway. I did get mad at Alexseveral times because he was so mean to Daisy who was nothing but sweet and trying to make a go at their marriage. I don't like it when people are quick to believe the worst in others. I gave it five stars because the story was really good and the ending was better than I expected.

Book Review: A waste of time
Summary: 1 Stars

This book was all over the place. I usually love SEP and actually read this book because I had just reread Ain't She Sweet for a book club and wanted more of SEP but wish I had known my time would have been better spent reading Ain't She Sweet for a third time. The whole 'sacred' thing was really annoying considering that for the first three chapters all Daisy could think about was jumping ship. What was with the mini-explosions and then nothing more said about it? And then he's descedent of royal family? NO. I didn't buy any of it , when SEP is good she's great but when she's bad she's complete crap-glad I only paid a dollar for the book because that's all it was worth.
Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

Book Review: A wonderful surprise
Summary: 5 Stars

I admit when I first read the plot of this book I was skeptical. Arranged marriage in this day & age? Socialite ends up in a circus with her groom? Sounded pretty hokey to me. Wow, was I wrong. Daisy's character was endearing, warts and all. She truly had a heart of gold. But it took a long time for anyone to realize that. At first you wanted to smack Alex on the side of the head, but he did end up redeeming himself beautifully.

Another reviewer commented on the implausibility of the Romanov connection. That aspect of the book fascinated me so much that I started researching Alexei Romanov. I've read several books on him, found extensive info on the Internet and found out the connection isn't so implausible after all. Let's just say, it's true, fact is stranger than fiction!

This book is definitely worth the read. You'll laugh & cry & cheer!

Book Review: Actually pretty good
Summary: 4 Stars

I listened to this book rather than read it, and wasn't really sure I'd like it, but I was pleasantly surprised! I still like her later books better but in a goofy way this really charming. And I didn't think their reactions (esp of the hero) were unrealistic given their circumstances. Sweet read for the summer (or those trying to escape!).

Book Review: Amazing...
Summary: 5 Stars

I loved this book! I couldn't put it down even though I had to study for my finals.
Alex and Daisy are an amazing couple and the story is so original. I cried and laughed while reading it!
