Book Reviews of Kiss an Angel

Book Review: Best book I ever read.
Summary: 5 Stars

I feel It was very well writen. It never stopped suprising me.

Book Review: Best of SEP
Summary: 5 Stars

I have read all of SEP's books and I love this the best! One can't help but love Daisy. In the beginning, the reader is treated to the misconception of Daisy's character. She was every bit the rich, spoiled brat that everyone thinks she is. But with time, circumstances allowed her to grow and reveal her true character and by the end of the book, you'd admire and love her for who she has become. Just goes to show that nothing is ever what it seems.

And I love Alex, because he is the modern day sexy, brooding hero. But mostly, I love the way he fell in love with Daisy. His firm hand taught her about herself, while at the same time, she taught him about love. Their story is very endearing, and is supported by rich characters, making the book a thoroughly enjoyable read. You will laugh, cry and sigh when "Kiss an Angel" is through with you.

Book Review: Best yet...
Summary: 5 Stars

I was skeptical of this book. I didn't initially like the characters, and thought the plot would be too implausible--plus the only non-customer review is not very good. But I ended up loving it best of all of Susan Elizabeth Phillips' books! Yes, there is an odd twist to this story with the circus and the Romanov connection, but I loved the characters--even when Alex, the hero, was mean-spirited I still adored him once I got to know him a bit better. I loved the characters, at least as much as the other characters of SEP's books. She is always a great writer, and now I'll know not to trust any more non-customer reviews. This one completely takes the cake! I think I'll read it again now...

Book Review: Can't Beat This Angel
Summary: 5 Stars

I have to agree with the others, "Kiss An Angel" is a must-read for romance, comedy, and great entertainment. If you are looking for a reality show, you may be disappointed. This story is clear fun and heartwarming, human emotional antics. Spoiled little rich girl, Daisy Devreaux has been bribed into an arranged marriage to big tough guy, Alex Markov by none other than her domineering father. Seems Daisy has been quite irresponsible with the funds left to her as a result of her mother's death. Dear old dad will be teaching her a lesson by matching her up with a stubborn, tough, non-emotional playboy who is out to teach her several lessons on the hard-knocks of life. They end up on a 6-month tour (the length of the time her father says she must remain in the marriage to receive her trust fund) of a broken-down old circus that Alex manages. The story takes off from there and never lets you down. Supporting characters such as Sheba and Brady as well as 16-year-old Heather develop as well as the main characters, including Tater the baby elephant and of course our favorite, Sinjun, the Siberian Tiger. I'm not much for circuses but this book definitely lives up to its reviews. Actually Daisy reminds me a lot of Gracie Snow from Heaven, Texas and I loved Gracie. For sheer entertainment, I would definitely recommend "Kiss An Angel."

Book Review: Can't recommend it
Summary: 1 Stars

I read all of Susan's books (some couple of times) except the last one published, till I discovered Francine Rivers' books that changed my life for eternity. Oh Susan, I wish you would read Francine River's books too and understand what I am trying to say and become a new type of a writer. Then I would read your books again. Francine was like you, but God changed her.
