Book Review: So disappointed in M. Night

As a parent and teacher, I had watched Mr. Shyamalan's interview on Amazon, and since I love all his movies and think he tells great stories, had looked forward to reading this book with my class of 9 year olds. Sorry....lovely illustrations but the story left me cold...and certainly not one I felt I would or could share with my students. Sadly, I believe this may have been just hype to the opening of the movie.Book Review: Something Missing Here.

I feel there was certainly something missing here. It started out so well, but fell short of it's mark.
I expected more pictures and much more story. This book comes across as a teaser, promising more, then not delivering. The movie I felt was great. I wish the book would have been the same. My opinion? Don't waist your money.
