Book Review: Failed to deliver!

This title was recommended on a recent course about Accelerated Learning techniques in the classroom. It sounded like just what I was looking for - ideas to inject a little humour into the classroom and to put the fun back into learning. I was just a little disappointed when the book arrived as it has an American bias - and therefore, I felt, American humour. Some of the ideas were transferrable to the British classroom, but many ideas related to practices which just do not happen in British schools. I work in the primary sector and having thumbed through the book there was very little aimed at the younger child's humour - some of it was very sophisticated. Overall, I found one or two good ideas, some food for thought, but generally I felt that the book did not meet my requirements. It might well be suitable for a Junior/Lower Secondary teacher.
