Book Review: Excellent book: binding not very clever!

The content of Malcolm Brown's latest, hardback, edition of Lawrence's letters is excellent and informative. Very good introduction and footnotes. BUT the book is NOT sewn - single pages are adhesive bound and, although better than the paperback version, I feel it is not likely to stand up to frequent use very well - and surely a book of letters is likely to be repeatedly searched. A GREAT pity because it is, otherwise, a splendid book. I bought this hardback, new, after buying the softback (again, new) in which pages started to come adrift after about ten minutes perusing!!!! I expected to have a sewn edition in hardback - but NO!
