Book Reviews of Lean Mean Thirteen (Stephanie Plum, No. 13)

Book Review: Entertaining Romp
Summary: 5 Stars

As a writer, I don't have as much time to read as I would like. When I pick up a book, I want to be entertained. Janet Evanovich has never failed me. "Lean Mean Thirteen" lives up to her reputation. I love all her characters and look forward to hearing what they are up to now. Ranger and Morelli are sexy as hell, but Grandma Mazur is a hoot!

Book Review: Great author, book in less than perfect shape
Summary: 3 Stars

This author always pops out a great book. I was disappointed with the condition of the book-bought it used at "very good" rating, however it must have been passed around multiple times as the binding was rough, the first several pages had been wet and repressed and the jacket was torn in the corner. I won't purchase from that provider again as I have passed books around in my book club and never received one in that condition to read without an explanation. Good thing I needed to read this one though.

Book Review: Not an Unlucky Number After All
Summary: 4 Stars

Dickie Orr, Stephanie's disgusting ex-husband, has disappeared leaving blood on the floor after a very public fracas with Stephanie. Stephanie tries to solve the mystery of his disappearance while trying to earn her living as a bounty hunter.

She solves a few other mysteries, such as what to do with a three-eyed exploding beaver, the case of the disappearing cable company and how to make a toaster bomb. Her kind heart still gets her in trouble as she attempts to apprehend fugitives, but she is getting tougher and smarter all the time.

Book Review: Mean Lean Thirteen Janet Evanovich
Summary: 5 Stars

Evanovich's books...especially the Stephanie Plum series are well written and are absolutely hilarious. These novels are always seem to short and I am done reading it before I know it!! Fun,fun reading

Book Review: Keep them coming - great series!
Summary: 4 Stars

I love this series of quick, fun reads. Stephanie continues her inept bounty-hunter career while being passed back and forth from Morelli to Ranger for protection. There are some laugh-out-loud scenes, but I'm ready for her relationship with Joe or Ranger to be ramped up a bit.
