Mackie Shilstone, has garnered a reputation as something of a guru and fitness genius in the athletic world, having worked with literally thousands of high end athletes and boxers. Shilstone was instrumental in transforming light heavyweight champion Micheal Spinks into a heavyweight who beat all time great Larry Holmes twice (for the title) and most recently Roy Jones (L.heavy-Heavy for title) and Bernard Hopkins (middle-Heavy). the pedigree and sucess then is without question.

This is a fantastic book that covers your every need inc specific training and supplemental/diet requirements to attain the physique/level of fitness that you desire.

A warning though!, this is a serious book requiring extensive dedication and likely expenditure on the readers behalf (due to dietary chnages and supplements etc). Also 24 workouts to achieve what you want is very optimistic if you are not an ex athlete and a complete beginner (if you've been in shape before it is easier and quicker to return to this, through msucle memory as opposed to starting afresh). In short muscles take time to build and as such nothing , not even steroid will have you Arnie esque in 4-6 weeks.

In short there is no miracle book or diet/exerecise out there that'll turn you from bloater to buff in a few weeks. thats a fact and if your looking at this as a newbie or someone who wants to get fit for Summer and then return to the potatoe chips after again you'll be wasting your money. If you do want to make a lifestyle change though and are prepared to be committed and dedicated and give it time (thats the most importanet factor, no giving up after your not an Adonis in 4 weeks) then the information here is invaluable, accurate and also comes from a very reliable and established source!!!
