Book Reviews of Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography (A Series of Unfortunate Events)

Book Review: Pretty Good, not as good as real books
Summary: 4 Stars

I am a HUGE fan of Series of Unfortunate Events, and this book was pretty good, too. The reasnon I didn't rate it a five is because it gets boring at parts and it's really just a bunch of letters and pictures. But overall it was very interesting and a page-turner, despite the flaw that somehow it's a fiction nonfiction book. (Of course, that's one of the things that make it interesting!)

Book Review: Erica's Review
Summary: 5 Stars

This book was extremely good. It was hard for me to put it down. The book is very intertwined with the Series of Unfortunate Events that Lemony Snicket also wrote. I'm sure that if you liked that series you'd like this book. Unfortunately it just skims along the surface about all the questions that we have about VFD. To tell you the truth it just fills your head with more and more questions.
This book is actually about Lemony Snicket in many ways though. (Not just the Baudelaires) He was taken away from his parents at a very young age to become a volunteer for VFD even though he didn't volunteer. It's about what he did and discovered while being part of VFD, and how he used the clue he found to help track down and help explain the Baudelaire's story and how it fits in with his life in more ways then one.
This Autobiography book should be great for all ages. I should know. When I started reading Lemony Snicket's books I started talking about them all the time, about the Baudelaire orphans and their story. My grandfather quickly caught on along with the rest of my family. Now my entire family is reading his books with me. It truly is a really wonderful series, and the author captures your imagination and literally drags you into the children's lives. If you happen to read it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
