Unlike other how-to-draw manga books, Let's Draw Manga: Fantasy contains a good mix of color and b/w illustration that are sure to inspire your own art work. This instance in the Let's Draw Manga series attempts to provide all the instructions that you need to draw your own fantasy manga.
For the most part this book works for me, however, beware that most guides are just a few step long. After all, this book is only 150 pages long! Chapter 5 was the most interesting, showing the whole process of creating the manga: from collecting your ideas to the actual manga. It was fun to read the final product.
In truth, it would be hard for most newcomers to learn how to draw manga characters and create a fantasy manga with this book alone. However, it is an excellent starting point and reference.
