I have just completed reading all 6 books in the series and I was completely satisfied. After Volume 1 the sex gets even more explicit and the love scenes are hot.
Volume 1 details how Mizuki and Kazuomi meet. You get to meet Haruno, Kazuomi's sister. Lots of sex in this volume.
Volume 2 introduces Takanashi, who has a crush on Mizuki. He really comes on the scene in Volume 3. Also, there's lots of sex. (There's lots of sex in most of the volumes.)
In Volume 3 Kazuomi's carefree past come back to haunt him when Takanashi discovers Mizuki's lover, Kazuomi, is the same guy who broke his sister's heart. This is a most serious episode.
In Volume 4 the first half involves lighthearted activities like celebrating Kazuomi's birthday and watching Takanashi's first cart race. Then we meet Mizuki's dysfunctional family and get more serious.
Volume 5 goes back to the days when Mizuki and Kazuoimi started living together.
In Volume 6 Kazuomi gets hit by a car. Then they go on vacation. Finally Mizuki wants more variety in their lovemaking, so Kazuomi provides aphrodisiacs and toys. Lots of explicit graphic sex!!! This is my favorite volume.
On the whole this is a cute series exploring the relationship of these two characters, their ups and downs, their interactions with family and friends, and actual day to day life. Nothing earth shattering, but just genuinely loving feelings between these two characters.
There is plot in this series, but not on the same level as Crimson Spell or Black Sun. It's a relaxing read.
