Book Reviews of Life Is Just What You Make It : My Life So FarBook Review: Donny I Allready Knew You Summary: 3 StarsI read the the book hoping to gain a new insight to him. I have been a Donny Osmond fan since 1969. I have skipped school, missed work when ever he was on tv (Before vcr's).There simply was nothing I haven't heard before in this book.I am glad his anger is gone and he is being himself though.
Book Review: Very well written, good background information. Summary: 5 StarsEnjoyed the book a lot. It gives an inside view of the entertainment business and the problems that comes with being in the business. The writers have covered Donny and his family, as well as his personal beliefs and lifestyle. Donny is shown as an open and honest person, in a business that is plagued with deception and mistrust. I wish him much success in his new TV show with Marie and with his family. Donny is an inspiration to anyone who is trying to find direction and inner peace. Thanks again for the book......

Book Review: This book is incredible. Couldn't put it down Summary: 5 StarsI have mixed emotions about this book. While it was an incredible read and every word was riveting. I must say that I was saddened by what I learned about Donny's treatment from his parents. Why was he made to sacrifice his life for his father's dream. To me the things I read were child abuse. And where was his mother when he cried for her? At home counting the money? Breaking child labor laws, not being allowed to have friends? And their church condons this? What kind of parenting is that? Is it only me that sees this is wrong? In closing I have to say that you don't have to be an Osmond fan to read and enjoy this book.
Book Review: I certainly learned a lot about Donny that I didn't know. Summary: 4 StarsI was suprised to find him so human but still true to his beliefs.
