Book Reviews of Life Is Just What You Make It : My Life So Far

Book Review: VERY ENLIGHTENING.
Summary: 5 Stars

IT IS AMAZING THAT YOU CAN ADMIRE SOMEONE FOR 29 YEARS AND STILL BE SHOCKED. THE BOOK MADE ME LAUGH AND SOME PARTS MADE ME WANT TO CRY. IT BROUGHT BACK SO MANY GOOD MEMORIES.

Book Review: I enjoyed Donny's book very much!
Summary: 5 Stars

Growing up in the same generation and being this teen idols fan, I found going down memory lane with Donny a lot of fun. As a grown woman reading this book I feel I know the man he grew up to be....turning my own teenage emotions into adult thoughts of admiration to this man he became. His struggles, his triumphs, his genuine love of his family and how he lives his life is a book worth reading about.

Book Review: SO INSPIRING AND ENLIGHTENING!!! GRABS YOUR HEART.
Summary: 5 Stars

Growing during the generation that Donny was a teen idol, it was so enlightening reading his book. He is so very open with his heart in the book and I found I couldn't put the book down. There are moments of laughs along with tears. It's wonderful to see what a strong individual he is but how sensitive and vulnerable. The book shows a side of Donny that most of us never knew or saw. If I was a fan then,I am a bigger fan now - for his openness to the world is courageous and compelling. Donny, I wish you many years of sweet and happy times to you and your family.

Book Review: A backstage peek at one of my favorite stars.
Summary: 5 Stars

I've loved Donny since age 8. I remember slumber parties where we would croon along with Donny as he sang "Go Away Little Girl". Thirty years later, I was privileged to see Donny perform his amazing "Joseph" role and get his autograph after the show. This book is a backstage glimpse into the life of a true star. His wife, Debbie, offered the support we all dreamed of as we practiced writing "Mrs. Donny Osmond" on our notebooks. I loved Donny at 8, and still feel affection, and much respect, for him now. A must-read for those of us who grew up with Donny posters on the wall.

Book Review: Quite An Enjoyable Book
Summary: 4 Stars

Before I read this book, I can say that I barely knew anything about Donny Osmond or his family. I vaguely remember seeing the Donnie and Marie Show during the late 70s, when I was in grade school. His story is very interesting, and I can relate to some of the problems he's had in the past. This is a very positive autobiography that anybody should be able to read and gain insight from. Recommended.
