This book is a collection of writings from such legends as the Gonz and Ed Templeton, and the literary talent of Niall Neeson. Some articles will make you laugh and others will make think. But what this book does best is convey emotion and you will be able to relate something to every piece of writing in this book, even if they are somewhat abstract (The ULF does not exist).
If you want a book that is about how so-in-so landed such-and-such switch at spot x, then buy Thrasher. This book is not a magasine, it has far more thought evoking articles. Also, dont't expect an easy read - the language in this book can be quite heavy.
This book is excellent, and I highly reccommend it, especially if you're up on ice or injured. It is an excellent book with a great page turning ability and you will want to read it again.
