Book Review: Excellent and Entertaining Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this book for my four year old granddaughter after reading THREE CUPS OF TEA by Greg Mortenson. When we read the book we talk about how this school in another country and culture is different from her school.
We use a globe to find the country.
She loves the beautiful pictures.
The scrapbook pictures in the back are a great addition. This is a book she will continue to enjoy and learn from for many more years.
Book Review: Excellent book Summary: 5 Stars
"Listen to the Wind" is a very creative small children's version of Greg Mortenson's wonderful book "Three Cups of Tea." The illustrations in "Listen to the Wind" are breathtaking. My 5 yr old granddaughter was in awe of children doing their lessons outside in a circle, scratching numbers in the dirt with sticks.
Book Review: Excellent book for all ages Summary: 5 Stars
This book is an excellent book on the fine work being done by Greg Mortenson in building schools for chilren and especially for girls in the critical areas of Pakistan and Aphganistan. It is written in children's language but informative for all ages. I especially liked the beautiful collage illustrations and the scrapbook of real pictures to help children know this is a true story!
Book Review: Good children's book Summary: 5 Stars
The book is in good condition and a good book to add to my childrens book.
