This is the closest book I have ever read to describe real blood fetish. A must read for vampires, vampire wanna-be's and anyone interested in a warped love story. Brite is a goddess and her work is better, even, then Anne Rice and Clive Barker. The characters make you want to love them and hate them and be them. (as well as have sex with them) haunting...erotic...and odd.Book Review: the best book

You are drawn into the book as soon as you start to read. you are then able to relate to the characters, and think they are real. I Love Nothing, he seems so special in the book. One book to die for, I loved it so much, it was the first Poppy brite book I read, and now I collect them, and I can't stop reading them. lost souls. two words that will remain in my mind as well as in my heart. this is by far the greatest book i have ever, and i do mean ever, read. Poppy Z. Brite digs her claws into you right in the get go and doesn't let go. i read the book in two days because i couln't put it down. my fav character was Ghost. his character was the most passionate and most sincere character in a novel that i have ever had the privelege to read. if anybody out there has not read this book, please do so. Poppy Z. Brite, thank you for the greatest book ever written. Keep up the good work and if you don't mind, try to write some more with Ghost in it. Ever since i read Lost Souls, my friends have been calling me Ghost. so, read up and enjoy.Book Review: this book rocks

i was told about Lost souls by a friend,once a got the book,i opened the first page and never put it down afterwards,i have never in my whole life felt such emotions as i did with Lost souls,i cried and laughed got mad it was everything,i could ever ask for,Lost Souls is the best book i have ever read since this book i have read other books from Poppy she is an amazing writer in every aspect,i felt wonderful things from this book,this book is my gateway to another world in which i love to visit,if only i could stay.Book Review: this kind of story takes imagination.

not her best book for me but there was something about the charactor Nothing that totally grabbed me. You have to read this book just try not to notice the way Brite writes 'feral' over and over! Ditto 'kudzu'.
