Book Review: Get lost in Austen
Summary: 4 Stars
This is for those who don't take their JA too seriously. Remember when you were child and you used to read those `choose your own adventure' books where you assumed the role of the protagonist and made choices that determined the main character's actions. Its very similar to those-for example you will be reading a couple of pages in which Darcy proposes to Elizabeth Bennet and then you will get multiple choices to select, for example
A) accept my Darcy's proposal
B) Give him a withering put down and throw your glass of sherry in his stuffy face
C)inform him that you have already accepted a proposal from Mr. Bingley; thus starting of a brawl in which Darcy stabs Mr Bingley to death
Depending on your choices the story will have multiple endings-most of them quite gory and ending in death or an unfortunate marriage!
There are so many different options that you could be reading this book forever. I like the way the anther mingles the different JA books in together- lizzie can end up married to Captain Wentworth etc.
