Book Review: 2 out of 5, I guess that's not so bad
Summary: 3 Stars
To be honest I only bought this book for one story, Love Struck by Melissa Marr because she is a favourite author of mine. That is usually how it is with anthologies and me 1 story but I do try to read the rest of the stories in hopes of finding something else interesting.

Love Struck
An amazing story that I did not want to see end and that has made it obvious that Ms. Marr needs to write a full length selchie novel.
Murrin is ultimately sweet and adorable and I can see why it was so hard for Alana to resist him and Vic is just so dangerous and tempting threatening any moment to pull you in, its best to keep an eye on him.
I love Alana's character, she's strong, independent and definitely knows what she wants and isn't afraid to make her own choices.
The descriptions were wonderful and I love the selchie folklore and have seen it in other stories of it always being the humans trapping the selchie/mermaid/siren/celestial maiden and I liked seeing put this way as both parties being trapped in it together.
Stupid Perfect World
Loved this story from beginning to end. It was hilarious, all of the students freaking out about transportation and sleep had me cracking up not to mention Maria going all hormonal on Keiran . The characters I love (especially the teachers and Kieran's dad) and the descriptions were good most of the time but I have to say I got a little confused with all the futuristic references and couldn't really picture a few (e.g head space) but I figured out what it was even if I couldn't see it. Like the internet in your head perhaps? Other than that the story was really enjoyable and I will most definitely be checking out more of Scott Westerfeld's books.
Sleeping with the Spirit
The story was OK not really bad but not gripping either or very interesting. And I knew the moment that she found the necklace what was going to happen from there. Predictable and a little dull with characters that didn't peak any interest. In fact the only people I liked were her two friends and that's because they were funny at times.
Thinner than Water
The story was pretty good in the beginning if not a little confusing with the setting. I could not relate at all to Jeannie and found her situation completely surreal and it wasn't because it was fantasy.
Fan Fictions
Do not like. At all. Did not like the style, did not like Paige or the plot and what was with the ending?
All and all as the title says 2 out of 5 isn't so bad, especially with short stories.
