Book Reviews of Love, LucyBook Review: I "Love Lucy" Summary: 5 Stars
This book was VERY moving. She goes into depth about her childhood more than any other Lucy book I've ever read. Her way with words compliments her acting skills. If you want to learn about Lucy's deepest personal experiences in her own words and thoughts, read this book today!!
Book Review: I LOVE LUCY Summary: 5 Stars
I never knew so much about Lucy. I really enjoyed this book and think anyone who has grown up watching her show "I Love Lucy", whether they were the originals or the reruns, would love it just as much as I have if not more. It was comforting to know that Lucille had gone through much of the troubles that each of us experience. She didn't have an easy ride through Hollywood, that's for sure! I don't believe there was a person who hated the I Love Lucy show while it was filming and I don't think that there is a person now who hates the I Love Lucy show. You'll love her book just as much! Promise!
Book Review: I Love Lucy Summary: 5 Stars
I've always been a huge Lucy fan, and recently bought this book. I finished it in a day. I love how classy she is. Desi had several affairs, but she never really talked about it in the book. She had the utmost respect for him and didn't bash him. I loved hearing about her life, and the things she did before "I Love Lucy." She was and always will be a legend. If you are a huge Lucy fan, this is a must read!
Book Review: I Love Lucy Summary: 4 Stars
This book was a very good read. As a long time fan of Lucille Ball, I was interested to look past the fairytale marriage in I Love Lucy, and see the truth. Though alot of the truth is very sad, Lucille's humourous side definitly shows through. The only thing I didn't really like about this book was the fact that it wasn't very complexly written. Well written, yes, but of course she wasn't a writer, she was an actress, so I still give it four stars. To warn you, it only takes place up until about the mid sixties. Overall, this was a fantastic book. Great summer reading!
Book Review: I Love Lucy Summary: 5 Stars
I would recommend this book to anyone who is a Lucy fan. Knowing that it is an autobiography makes it more interesting. You can almost hear her voice as you read through the lines. Her life wasn't all roses. Lots of pictures for us to enjoy. Get the book. You won't put it down.
