Book Review: My favorite redhead.
Summary: 4 Stars
Love, Lucy by Lucille Ball was an autobiography she wrote but never published. Her daughter Lucie found the manuscript and decided to publish it almost a decade after her mother's death. Lucille Ball was a comic gem, she did everything so perfectly. This book is good but some of the parts seem empty so I can't give this book 5 stars. Ball talks about her modeling days, how she met and fell in love with Desi Arnaz, her hit t.v. show and becoming a businesswoman when she was highly criticized for being too tough. I am not a big reader but I love biographies of the stars. I love to see where they came from and how far they have gone. Lucy has been one of my all time favorite comedians. I have watched every I Love Lucy show up until she went off the air in the 70's and then watch in syndication. When I bought this book, I did not put it down until I was finished with it. I remember I was in New York on business when I started it and finished it that night. Then went out the next day trying to find the places she lived. Literally.... I highly recommend it for any and all Lucy lovers. It's a great book.Book Review: THIS BOOK IS THE BEST!!!

in this book Lucille ball gives out her heart. she tells of her entire life and finished writing it a few weeks before she died. she wanted to publish it before she died but she didn't want to hurt desi. it gives many details about problems in her life. i really liked it. i read it in 2 days and could never put it down. its a great book, you gotta get it!!! it also had many really good pictures of lucy's life. before and after the divorce. many good pictures, and a good book, why shouldn't you get it???Book Review: The Best Book! ...

This is on of the best books that can be put on a shelf. The book "Love, Lucy" is written by Lucille Ball herself. It is absolutally thrilling to go along with Lucy and her life. It does not go through her entire life but it covers it through 1964.It was written by her so it tells her life in her eyes looking back. She gives little side notes on the side sometimes, it seems. She tells you how what she got out of her life and how she was going to try to improve. Lucille also give a little background on Desi and his life. She goes along with his life as she does her; which proves she still loved him...even after the separation.
Going along with Lucy gives you the sad, happy and the exsiting times she went through. If you are a Lucy fan, and even if you are not, you will surely love this book.
