Book Review: A powerhouse of practical ethical philosophy

A great leader can take ideas that are seemingly obvious and make them shine with clarity and profundity. Written by JP2 as Karol Wojtyla in the late 50's, this book takes the simply idea that every human being deserves our deepest love and respect, gives it firm grounding in philosophy and ethics, and makes it come alive for everyday living. This book should challenge you to examine your relationship with your spouse or anyone else, and take a serious look at what motivates your actions, and what loving another person really entails. A warning, this is not an easy book to read, perhaps the most challenging book I have ever read (not counting college chemistry). It is very dense in philosophy. I had to read it slowly and reflect on it. But it is well worth the effort.
