Book Review: Interesting but not the most helpful book on the market
Summary: 3 Stars
The first part of the book introduces the statistics of child abuse. This is interesting, if not shocking, alas not very helpful. The remainder is mostly concerned with relating your partner's behavioral patterns to his/her past. Thus, I feel this book approaches the problems, confusions and surprises one encounters with a deeply loved survivor from a more academic angle than Laura Davis' book "Allies in Healing". Both books will surely make you cry, however, Davis' book goes right into the heart and offers for that matter much more useful help then the one by Beixedon.
