Book Review: Beautifully coloured illustrations.
Summary: 4 Stars
A nice simple story of a mouse eating his lunch, and really, really BRIGHT nice colours. A great (short) story to read out to kids because they get to guess what fruit or vegetable is over the page (ie tasty orange .... carrots). Very short and sweet, but my kids really enjoyed it as they got to join in (by guessing). Lovely illustration on the last page as well, where kids get to identify the bits of food left on the mouse - this definitely appealed to their sense of humour (my kids are 3yo, 4yo and 6 yo by the way). I think younger kids would love this too, as it is so nice and bright and clear and simple. Recommended.
