Book Reviews of Maisy's BedtimeBook Review: Sweet and simple bedtime story! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great story for a toddler bedtime; simple, short, sweet, and just interesting enough. It helps me wind down, too! As always, the bold colors, simple text, and realistic topic make this a winner. I love the little details of Maisy putting on her pj's and using the bathroom! Highly recommend!
Book Review: We love Maisy Summary: 5 Stars
My almost-three-year-old has loved Maisy since she was an infant. This book is great because it goes through the steps
of what a little one needs to do before she goes to bed.
Book Review: We read it every night Summary: 5 Stars
What a neat little book! Easy to read, colorful, and even talks about using the potty. My youngest won't go to bed without reading it! Sweet!
Book Review: a cute book Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this for my 22 month old daughter. She likes the story but is not terribly excited about it. The graphics are cute though and it takes the children through the bedtime routine. The story ends with Maisy remembering she needs to go potty before returning to bed. Seems like this would be a helpful book when we enter potty training stage.
Book Review: simply perfect, the way young children's books should be Summary: 5 Stars
The first time I came upon a Maisy book I thought it would completely bore my son. Luckily, I gave it a second try around 1-year and marveled when Maisy's Train became a favorite for weeks upon weeks. Now, at 19-months, Maisy's Bedtime is read many times every night. It's one of the only books that I read without modifying any of the words on the page. They are simple, yes, but it's exactly what kids under 2 eat up. I love the small moments of intrigue...where IS panda? And what DID Maisy forget to do before going to bed? Now my son sits on the potty on his own before going to bed and laughs when Panda is found sitting on the windowsill. Wonderful!
