This book, like Kevin Aucoin's second book, Face Forward, is fantastic. Well written, the pictures are great. The step by steps are easy to follow, the layout is beautiful. I bought this book for my daughter who heard about it through another author. She got it out of the library and kept bringing it back late so I decided she needed her own. She adores old movies and glamour of the old days. She is just wild about this book. She learned a lot about make-up and she has mastered quite a few of these styles herself. I loved this book. I love the amazing abilities make-up has to transform people. Kevyn is a master at this art. This book is definitely more advanced and more for your enjoyment and to be wowed!!! As a professional MUA this book could be a great learning tool but a little more over the top for the everyday person wanting to learn makeup tips. Book Review: Totally awesome book!
