This book shows how to make a variety of metal beads using silver, gold and copper etc. The beginning goes through a list of tools and materials required to set up fairly simply. Forming a creating your own bead shapes is covered as well as changing and adapting exsisting metal beads to make them more exciting or unique. A nice array of techniques are covered and I was happy with this book being added to my vast collection. I think this book starts beginners off with techniques that are not too daunting and also gives ideas to people already working with metals. It has lovely photography throughout and good gallery pictures. It lets you see what you can do with a minimal amount of investment and tools. I reccomend this book to people interested in making thier own metal beads or just starting out working with metals and to experienced metalworkers it has ideas and thoughts that will add to your exsisting skills nicely.
