Book Review: A good book about a fast runner

I just finished Jerry Spinelli's book Maniac Magee and it was great. I liked it because it was exciting and sad. Maniac Magee is a fast runner. He is also good at sports. He likes to read because he asked Amanda Beale if he could borrow one of her books. He read the whole book but didn't return it because he liked the book so he read it a couple more times. If you like adventure books then this is a book for you. Also if you like sports then this is a book for you but if you cry when something sad happens you might not want to get the book.Book Review: A great book for all ages.

This was an excellent book for all ages.But , otherwise Maniac Magee is known as Jeffery Magee,his life changes when his parents died on the P and W high speed trolley.So then he went to live with his Aunt and Uncle .His aunt and Uncle was always fighting so Maniac left then house where he was living and ran away.Maniac lived in so many places like Maniac lived in Bridgeport,Holidaysburg,after that he just visited place's like East end and West end ,Mrs pickwells,East Chestnut,East Marshall,Green Street,and Arch Street.Maniac had a lot of friends he meet.Even though some of the part didn't make scence I still liked the book. This book is about a run away that left his aunt and uncle for a good reason. (but don't go running away yourself) the reason he ran away is because his aunt and uncle diagreed on everything. And they don't use the same household products as each other, for example they have two tosters in the house because they can't use the same things as each other. And this was driving maciac insane. So he ran away from home and he ran like the wind. And he ended up all the way in the east end (A African American comunity)and manic is white. And what he dones't know is the town is seperated in white and black. I can't tell you what happenes next you have to read the book.Book Review: A lesson to be learned!

Maniac Magee is a great book to integrate into a classroom, not only for a unique approach to diversity but a good lesson in character developement. Maniac is a homeless boy who is running on the streets trying to find his place in the world. He is constantly comfronted with situations that delay his effort of finding a home. It's a great book with a great ending.Book Review: A magical book.....

This book is written by my favorite author - Jerry Spinelli. This book is so good that each time I read it, it gets more suspensful, fun, and there is more adventure each time. I would recommend this book to people who like suspense and action. If you like Harry Potter, you will love Maniac Magee. He's like Harry Potter, except he does it without magic.
